Siren County is a place of thoughts and observations, general fiction, commentaries and reviews, and a peppering of recipes and projects, all strewn about for travelers wishing to stop and spend just a moment of their time to smell the flowers, or perhaps just sip and reflect, or even squish around in consideration like wet sand around their toes. But why ‘Siren County’? Sirens were said to be powerful, mythical beings who lured unsuspecting travelers with their ethereal voices, beckoning them to come ashore with the traveler usually meeting some tragic end. While I am quite land-locked and have no intention of dooming my visitors, I do hope to bring some ashore for a small treasure or two, and that they find something to enjoy during their visit.
